How the heck do you cook a TOFU TURKEY ?????

My nephew is bringing his PETA girlfriend home for Thanksgiving. Tofu is bean curd !!!

I'm not going to do it, nope, no way. This boy cooks and eats real meat and that is what I'm going to do.

Now my sister-in-law can do what she wants but she doesn't know how to cook one so she ASKED ME!!

Now I'm asking you.

I've never heard of a "whole" tofurkey before, but I've seen and run away from tofu turkey patties in the store.

If you're absolutely forced to do such a thing try allrecipes.com. They've got recipes for anything....even the most horrifying meat immitation.

I would be happy at Thanksgiving dinner eating all the side dishes. If I was a vegetarian, I wouldn't need anyone to cook me anything special. Stuffing, green beans, rolls, potatoes...who needs tofu?
 
Heat your grill up to 525 degrees. Place turkey in center of grill and cover. Cook 12 hours or until all the smoke clears away.

I will own up to using tofu for one, and only one application. And I feel like I have to apologize to everyone at the store when I buy it. But we found a recipe for Chinese "hot & sour soup" a number of years ago that's fantastic. It requires tofu. Now a pressed turkey shaped tofu mold? I could make a lot of hot & sour soup with that one.
 
I enjoy tofu when I sit down to a good movie on the Halmark Channel. You make a tofu salad out of tofu, mayo, some scallions, and a dash of soy sauce and put it on a nice brioche. I swear your testicles will suck right up into you body and you will start to grow breasts. The perfect feeling while you are watching a good movie on the Halmark channel with a nice glass of red wine.
