Help with blind windows

I've leased a piece of property that had two elevated blinds on the property. The problem is one has no windows and the other one the plexiglass is no longer clear. I've tried everything to clear them up. Looking for a inexpensive replacement the 1/4 plexiglass that's used now is way out of my budget (spent all my money on the lease).

Any chance you could just open the windows when you climb in? I know it's colder that way but still beats a tree stand.

You might watch Facebook Marketplace and Craigslist or keep an eye on the lical solid waste convienience centers for someone getting rid of old windows.

You can get a big 4x8 foot sheet of plexiglass at HD or Lowe's for about $75 (I think that's what I paid). Measure out the windows and cut with a saw. We did that and drilled holes for hinges/latches. With one sheet of plexiglass, we did 2 shooting houses and have enough for about 1/2 the windows on the next one we build.

Have you tried magic eraser or the wd40 yet? The basic headlight restoration DIY stuff should work. Otherwise look on Craigslist for windows.

May try some cleaning automotive wax/ polish or even a metal polish like blue magic to remove some of the surface finish

My son used turtle wax polishing compound on his faded headlights and they look like me.

Tried wd40 and the polishing/resorting compound helped a little still can't see thought them.

My windows are 24in x9 in, so I got 20 windows out of that one sheet!...

Get a cheap roll of screen tack above window, put some cheap hooks when you need to shoot lift it and slide it onto hook. Or leave it open for now. Home depot has a piece of plexi glass for $136.00 that'll probably do all windows in one of them it's 1/8"

When I built mine, I used Lexan instead of plexiglass in most if not all of my windows. I purchased a bunch of the messed up pieces at Lowes and Home Depot at a discount, I just made sure the piece was big enough for my needs. Going on 5 years now and they seem fine. But I would use the soft top window cleaner they sell in many places, I used to use it on my jeep windows and they cleared up well.

I always heard tooth paste would clear stuff like that up. But idk never tried it

What about using glass? The windows in my redneck blind are glass for this very reason.

If the plexiglass isn't crazed in the center, consider wet sanding them with 600grit, then 800g, then 1200g sandpaper, then polish.
