For 30.06 Vanguard Weatherby made in Japan....what fits this model?

The Howa 1500 is the same action as most of the Weatherby Vanguards. If you use a 2 piece base set, they are the same as Remington 700. The one piece base is not the same.

get the Talley 1 piece, you can call talley directly and say you found them for $30 online but they are out of stock and they will match it and ship them. Got mine in 2 days after calling.

you can also get the leupold base and mounts that will fit.

Sometimes if you use the weaver ones for the rem 700 you have to shim the back one to get a perfect fit.

if you get the talleys and have a 40mm scope get the low.
