Help me pick a scope

I've got a Browning A Bolt Stalker in 7 mag with a 3.5-10 scope and I'm wanting something with a bit more reach. Budget less than $500 if possible
 
I have a couple of 3-12's and a couple of 4-16 Vortex Diamondback HP's you are welcome to look through if you want. Not selling any of them but just offering to let you test them. They are great scopes and well under $500
 
I indeed was pondering the Diamondback HP 4-16 but have not physically seen one. I looked thru the standard Diamondback and wasn't impressed. The warranty is what is very attractive. I've got a Leupold 3.5-10 50mm vari X 3 that is very nice but the longer zoom is what I want. Are you a member of MSSA?

Yes I am a member or MSSA. Message me the next time you are headed out there and I will see if I can meet you. The original Diamondback is not as good of glass as the HP and the eye relief is not nearly as good. Original Diamondback only has like 3" of eye relief, The HP has 4" or so.
