I live pretty much around pasture land. I have killed a coyote from my back porch in the middle of the day a few years ago. Now I bought one of those digital coyote calls just to see if I can call them in and NO LUCK. I hear them at night all around and very very close but I can never see them in daytime any more. I have called for the last 30 minutes of light and nothing. Any suggestions on how to call them in this time of year? Thanks for the help.

My favorite time to hunt coyotes is right at dark! You can kill them anytime but right before dark is when I've had my best luck! I like to hunt spots you would find a rabbit in ! Super thick! Sapling thickets grown over CRP FIELDS FULL OF briers are my favorite! I try to always put my down wind side blowing into an open field! They will almost always circle you on the downwind side to smell before coming in! If they do then he will have to get out in that open field to do it and get shot! Coyotes are funny you can go for a week sometimes and never see a thing then go make 3 sets and kill one every set! Just keep trying it will happen for you!

Dont overhunt your spot. They are very smart and you can educate them really quick if your not careful. I wouldn't call the same farm more than once a month.
