Food Plots He'll with fertilizer

So, I got my plots in 3 weeks ago and with all this rain they are looking good. I didn't have time to fertilize them when they were planted. I'm going to the farm tomorrow, and could fertilize then, but no rain in the forecast for the next week. Should I put out the feilizer anyway or should I wait and try to catch it before a rain?

A lot of your nitrogen will volatilize if you don't have rain pretty quick.

You can also burn plants/seed if it is in contact with fertilizer for a period of days.
