Nice deer! Probably the biggest buck I've ever intentionally passed on was a fully mature 8 point that was broken off on one side above the brow tine. I saw him two different times and could have easily killed him once. I let him go, hoping for another chance the next year. I ran into the neighbor after the season and he was telling me about a giant paw paw buck he had killed. He pulled out his phone and showed me a pic of the big half rack. Hope yours turns out better!

No way would I kill that buck with one side broke off...hopefully you get a chance at him next year...I let a wide 8pt walk twice one year because he had around 9 inches of his main beam broke off....killed him the next year with a full rack...it can happen.
The biggest body deer I've ever seen in the woods only had one side with great mass. I passed him more than once and never saw him again.
