First night trying chicken breasts! Should be a good nite once all the drunks get off the lake!

Good deal! I like the chicken since trying it.... what you say? how does it go compared to shrimp? 10 good keepers sounds pretty decent to me.

Chicken seems to be getting it done. Holds a lot better than the shrimp. I am mixing it with premos blood bait. Chicken stays on a lot better. That's for sure.

Yeah it does stay on great. I did have a few empty hooks come up at marrowbone. Not sure if turtles or cats got it but they must have bit pretty good.

I tried the chicken breast, not too impressed. All I caught was 1 5lb catfish. I am going to give it another shot though because it is cheaper and easier to use than my normal bait. Normally I put 2 minnows on each hook. I have pretty high catch rates using this method.

Live bait does work great. Live small bluegill has worked great for me for many years, especially on the bigger cats!

I tried cut bluegill a while ago. I guess I am going to have to try the live ones next.
