gonna do a little work in the garden early and then head out for an all day trip to marrowbone. Also finally bought some cheap chicken breast for the jugs. Gonna see how the little cats there like it.

lots of grass carp in the coves. No common carp. Caught a 4.5 lb blue cat and a few smaller cats on jugs with chicken breast. Couple largemouth bass up in one of the creeks with a wacky worm. Almost had a grass carp but hook set failed. Grass carp were cruising but not biting. Very spooky and in shallow water. Tough to sneak up on a boat. Looked to be from 15 to 30+ pounds. I hope there are still commons in there, I'd love to catch a common carp out of that lake since it produced the state record in '97.
