Thanks for posting those pictures. For some reason, I often see yearling bucks with racks like this - tines pointing forwards. Yet I don't ever get older bucks with racks like this. I don't know why that "shape" is so common for yearling bucks in my area, but it is. The upside is, it does not translate into oddly shaped racks beyond the yearling year.

That's reassuring. This is the first buck caught on camera with a rack like this on our farm. Though we wouldn't mind a gnarly nontypical every now and then lol.
