The birds didn't follow the script this morning. The first farm we was on had birds gobbling good but they were all over the land owners grandson. We headed to another farm and spotted two hens and a tom in the field. He didn't want anything to do with us while the hens were around. The hens finally made their way off. He would gobble at us but never commit. He stayed at around 80 to 100 yards from us. It took us about an hour and a half to finally get this bird to work in to 30 yards. 10 inch beard 1 inch and 7/8 spurs.
