I don't particularly like calling myself a gun builder since I mostly just collect quality parts and do what I've got to do to cobble together a muzzle loading firearm. I like to say gun stocker. For your pleasure I'm offering up Hawken rifle in the manner of the famous Hawken brothers of western mountain man days of the mid 1800s. Description: .50 caliber round ball twist barrel sighted to 100 yards, 30 3/4" long. I'm not sure of the make but I'm thinking it's either a Douglas or Green River. Total weight of the rifle is a tad under 8 lbs. 15 ozs. , premium curly sugar maple stock, Ron Long, Denver lock, Cherry Corners Hawken style triggers, captured barrel keys, poured pewter nose cap. 100% USA made. You can own this quality, one of a kind Muzzleloader for $1500. Thanks for viewing.

Man wasn't that awesome times. It was sort of like we were going back in time when we loaded those and went out on opening day. Yes yes I know all that went with hunting with that style rifle. But the memories were fantastic. Don't get that same feeling with the in-line. But I do know most likely it'll fire. Lol

Well you got the lines right and it has pretty wood for sure. I'm a die hard flintlock guy and have been told that the Hawken is one of the hardest to do right.
