hawke vantage or tract fire 22

anyone ever compare these two rimfire scopes. i like the idea of the hawke's illuminated reticle.

Have a Hawke on a Daystate Regal Air Rifle with the illuminated reticle and love it. Just don't forget to to turn it off after use or you'll have a dead battery.

I've got a Hawke Vantage 2-7 with the IR on my 12 gauge slug gun. It is awesome for the price and the IR is very nice in the last 15 min of legal shooting light. It's also held zero perfectly after tons of 12 gauge slug rounds.

I ahve the 22 fire. You'd have to spend a lot more money to get better glass.

thanks guys. the hawke came in and really bright scope edge to edge, considering its a chinese scope. hopefully it will work well this fall.

gonna buy a cz convertible when supplies get better. prolly try a tract on it.

The hawke 3-9 subsonic scope just works. It is actually calibrated correctly just zero at 50 and the drops are correct.

Got the 3-9 & 4-12 tract and the hawke now. Have to say the hawke is a bit clearer and my favorite of the 3.
