I went out to the mtn last eve after work, left an hour early even. Went to a stand that I haven't been to since juvy with my daughter, and this is how it looked out there. ICED OVER. I couldn't believe it was still iced over out there!

Oh, and didn't see a single thing....except a different dog this time.... :/
 
Hang in there MUP, tides gonna swing our way in North of Chatt-town. Hey, we have a week to take a doe starting the 16th. Think I am gonna take the weekend hunting off and maybe hit it on Monday.

Aren't we all MUP? Never say die until the season's over. It takes about 10 seconds to change a dismal season into a great season.
 
I'm just getting excited about the rut myself. It typically winds up mid December in Franklin county. I haven't taken a deer at all so far this year.
