Now after 102's post on how to score deer and were all professionals at it...LOL...Let's here what you think this FREAK could gross around? I don't care really as that would be my last concern if I got a chance at him (because i would die of a heart attack before i shot) but i have to admit the curiousity has got me. I know my chances are slim I'll kill him as he hasn't made it for 5.5 years plus by being stupid but you can be assured all other bucks and properties for that matter have been put on the back burner. I'll be putting up a few more cameras around the field to see if I can get a regular entrance and exit pattern on him if he's still around the plot when the velvet comes off.... so what say you???

My initial guess was 155"+ gross. With that said, a good friend of mine killed a buck few years back in Arkansas that mimics this buck in A LOT of ways. His grossed 165" and had 40" of mass measurements. I think this one is in the ballpark. He looks 160"+ in the bottom picture for sure. Best of luck with him come season.

Yea he might get 20-25 in on both sides, so 155 is on the low end. So 155-165. Either way, good luck with him this season so we can know for sure!

Hard to tell with the velvet on, but I would definitely say in the 150s and maybe pushing 160. Hope to see a pic in a few weeks with no velvet and maybe a pic with your hands on him. Very nice buck. Good luck with him!

Great to compare the 2 thanks. It looks like mine has more mass but yours beams and brow tines are a touch longer...I sure hope I get a crack at him if I make it that long. It's all I've thought about

And that was a awesome buck! I was heart broken when the neighbor shot him! I never wanted to kill a deer as bad as that one! I had him pattern to a t! Just didnt expect a doe that eary would take him to neighbors property. He was in his garage and seen him chasing a doe in his back yard and got his crossbow and walked down fence line and shot him! Happy for him, but it never happens like that for me! What i would have givin, Lol!

That's a real nice buck, hope you get a crack at him. I have a hard time judging velvet racks due to the velvet making their mass look a lot higher than it really is, but I don't think that will have much of a problem in the mass department. 160, maybe just a tiny bit less.
