Hate 2 man stands

When I picked up my place it had two man stands already setup and in pretty good spots. Problem is I hate them! They are so uncomfortable. Anyone ever put the seats you use on bleachers? Talking about the ones that clip on to the underside of the bleacher. Would it be safe? Any other idea to make them bearable? If I could get is secure and safe I am thinking get one and just pack it in with me

We had some memory foam cut and wrapped it up in a cheap poncho. Makes the stand much more comfortable
 
For my climber I bought some polyester batting material and camo fabric and sewed me a seat cushion. Of course they also sell camo seat cushions for the same purpose.

You can order the seat cushions for them from Sportsman's Guide. Guide Gear Replacement Seat Item #WX2-220014. $19.99 OR $17.99 if you're a Buyer's Club member. I use them for both the seat cushion and a back rest.
 
Academy sells either just the butt portion (camo --- Not that it matters) for $7. they sell a folding version for $14.

the folding version is just the butt only version with a back pad. I have a bunch and will try them out this year, but from what I can tell it will make a difference for the better.
 
Good cushions but I too hate the ones you're talking about. I bought one a year or two back whose name I can't remember but it has a zero gravity seat like Milleniums use and they are awesome. Never have to stand and I don't fidget around trying to get my butt and back from being sore.
 
Like 7mminatree said, memory foam would be a great idea. Might need to add an additional layer if your a big Ole boy like myself.
 
Not worth all the trouble... Take them down and I will come and get them and you can replace with whatever you want.

X2. What I did last year on my 2 man stand. I bought 3 of these $7 seats as I wasn't sure about the width of my stand and how mamy I would need to fit the width. Three was too wide, so I put two such seats near center and third one on top of the two. That was comfortable. I couldnt sit for more than 2 hours with just the seat that came with stand, but with the added cushion, have sat on it dawn to dusk comfortable. The only downside is that insects also find it comfortable between these seats; they may creep on you while you are seated or mostly, when you are just about to sit
