Anybody hunt Hatchie NWR? Do you have to draw a tag? Gun or bow? Any help would be appreciated

Gun hunts are quota (except juvenile), where you have to be drawn; the cutoff date was 29 July for applying. There is no quota on the juvenile hunt. These links will help you out with rules and regulations there:

I never took a deer the few times I bow hunted it but I was fired up about where I hunted. Out of the way situated between water ways and sloughs with lots of big sign. It would have been a real job getting one back to the truck.

Sounds like the complete opposite of what I am used to,sandy pine plantations and farmland in S Bama.But it's too close to the house not to give it a shot.Always feels twice as good being successful on public land.Looks like you know the feeling.I really appreciate the info
