Has anyone bought from CTD and how did you like it. They have a CZ 452 Varmint priced at 389.96 shipped and I am thinking about ordering from them.
 
I bought a gun bag from CTD; no problems but I know many folks have had bad experiences. Make sure you're ok with the return policy...
 
I have no first hand experience with a purchase from CTD, But...............I have been told by two seperate gun dealers in my area that they (CTD) purchases seconds from the major manufacturers and that is why the prices are considerably lower than other sellers.

I looked at a Savage 93 in 17HMR for my son for Christmas this yr. CTD had the exact gun he wanted for $200 less than any other seller I could find. I was very leary and passed on it.

Old saying.......................you get what you pay for, It may be too good to be true.

After what CTD did or tried to do to gun people during the fall of 2008 and spring of 2009 I wouldn't buy anything from them at any price. They are not friends of gun people.
 
Looks like I will be looking else where for a CZ. I seem to remember CTD were holding people up on ammo prices now that you mention it. Thanks for jogging my memory.
 
I agree on not buying from them. They literally raped people on ammo prices and openly acknoweledged it. As best as I can remember their statement, the jist of it was "If people were willing to pay it, they were gonna keep going up until ammo prices topped out".

Try Gunbroker.com. I have had very good success there. Did take me nearly 6 months to get what I wanted, but being cheap doesn't help and I was in no rush. Look for dealer named AMMO-ARMS Elk County PA. Honest, fast flat rate shipper.

They jacked prices on ammo three to five times what it should have sold for and were proud of it. Bout like some of the gas stations do when there is some natural disaster. It was nothing but pure gouging.
