Had to show a KY tract after church today, Christian County already
has a lot of corn that's been harvested, there's several farmers in that area along I-24 that farm 10-20,000 acres, got to start early. Deer will be changing their feeding patterns with this

Talked with a old college buddy on Thurs. that is rep. for Pioneer Hi-Bred and he had about 5 farmers in Rutherford and surrounding counties that were shelling all ready. Yeild were from 170 to 220 bushels per acre which is awesome for our area, cause we have alot of crappy clay soils.

There is a little harvesting going on in Lawrence and Giles County And yes reports are that this poor Tn soil is yielding 200-225 bu acre. lol Corn harvest has never changed deer patterns much in my area. They are feeding in the field before harvest and will continue to feed after harvest but will be more visible. I think the pattern changed back when the corn started getting a good ear on it. Now when the beans drop leaves and harvest starts on them some deer will leave the beans for the corn. jmo

Matt Murphy. Yall have all that good dirt down there!
Yes I know him. We had to cancel the plot this year due to it getting to late to get a good test. Plots are his primary job I believe.

He was several years behind me in school, my wife actually taught him in H.S. Good guy and he loves his job.
