Anybody got any tips for me around that area on Kentucky Lake, me and the wife gonna head up that way one of the next two weekends, planning bass fishing, any help would be great since my wife is not that patient.
 
I live not too far from there and fish there some.If it warms up much more those bass will be in the shallows.Right now they are biting on rock banks and points close to deep water with crankbaits and the A-Rig.
 
They're in 18 inches of water...right now. Of course there are alot that are still further out wide. ...but there's some good bags of fish shallow. It'll be even better by the time y'all get here.

Went today out of New Johnsonville. Caught them over 20 foot of
water on "the rig", shallow on brush hogs and spinnerbaits and
in 2-10 feet on a jerk bait. It's really starting to heat up
and there are fish deep to shallow. Take your pick.

At Harmon's I would concentrate on staying on the creek and
hitting every piece of cover I see. You will find them somewhere.
By the time you get there the lipless bite should be good.
All the points on those little islands at Harmon's should be on
fire.

They are also catching Crappie around shallow beds which it's
full of there. Good luck man.
 
I would have at least one rod with a plastic worm. My brother and I have caught hundreds of bass over the years in March on a worm in Harmon, Richland, Sulphur, Turkey, Little Crooked, Greenbriar and White Oak.
 
I really appreciate guys, sounds like we are going to hit it just right as long as the weather doesn't get weird, which is good cause if the fishing is bad the first time we go somewhere my wife will never go back, lol
