I live on the bama/tenn line and Im looking to get in a lease/club in Wayne or Hardin county next year, I've never got to hunt tenn everyone says its awesome. Anyone know were I could look for leases or clubs? I didnt see a forum for it so I just thought id ask trying to get a jump on it. thanks
 
Better now that it's not bonus deer. Since they made it same as statewide, there probably isn't half as many people hunting it. I've seen some monsters killed on eagle creek.

I've seen some big bucks there never killed one there. Both my uncles have taken good bucks from there. There is lots of cutovers, quite a bit of pine and some hardwoods. I can say that everytime I hunt there I see deer. Probably gonna be there the 2nd weekend of rifle.
 
I love hunting cutover on those frosty mornings, at least the weather is starting to get right. Im going to try eagle creek out for sure, been reading about browntown.
 
try just north of cwood. Tie Camp area, big bucks killed there every year,all state land now.Haven't hunted it in several years though.
 
Tie camp ive heard some guys at work mention hunting there. They said that they always see deer when they go. Whats a good buck for wayne county?

My uncle hunts browntown quite a bit, I've been there a few times. I'd like to go to try tie camp, I just always end up going somewhere else.
 
If it ain't too far for you, I've heard of a lot of good deer come out of the Sinking Creek area up north in Wayne. You might get lucky and find some land that's not leased
