I have a lease near Olivehill and Friday evening from 4PM till just after dark ( yep, I know) I heard more deer rifle shots than I've heard since the wild management area hunts of the late 70s in Alabama. There was no wind and I could har shots near and far from every direction. At 4:20 I clean missed a neck shot on a doe at about 80 yards but at 4:25 I was able to redeem myself on another deer.
