Hard to reach spots?

I have a small, hard-to-reach spot and I don't plan on dragging the seed drill out to it. Has anybody had any luck with the no-plow, or any other no-equipment type seed? I will be able to get a disc back to the spot, but the seed-drill is a little bit tougher.

Yes, I am a firm believer in No-Plow. That is our go-to seed. They will hit it all the way up into Feb and wont stay out of it. And yes all you need to do is disc it up pretty good and sow.

We planted 3 acres of it this past Sunday. Dad went to check it yesterday (4 days later) and it is already "mo-joe'in" with sprouts coming up very good. I'm going this weekend to put some chicken-wire up to see how much they keep it mowed down this year.

No reason to buy a name brand no till unless you really want to. A mixture of wheat, clovers, brassicas works great for no till spots. The key is to plant just prior to a rain and to get good soil contact.

planted no-plow two weekends ago- after two great rains it is coming up great! used it last year and the DER and other kind of rape in the mix was completely eaten to the ground way before the 1st frost! The only drawback to the mix is that it has ryegrass instead of wheat/ryegrain!
