Anybody do this? Was wanting to try it I was just wondering how well it worked

I did it for a few years. I had the most success with the smaller varieties. I hung them on a swivel to make it easier to pick, and so I could rotate the plant in order to keep it from growing more on one side that the other. Even grew herbs above tomatoes a time or two.
