Smokeless Handi rifle

Would a New England SB2 45/70 be a good rifle for a smokeless conversion? What would be a good price for one?

Does he use a Savage breech plug?

I think he can but he uses lukes plug. Lookup arrowhead sporting goods. You'll learn alot on there.

Whoever does the conversion, I would request a Direct Ignition system.
