Hand pruners

Give me some ideas on brands or styles that you fellers use that aren't crazy expensive. My Gerber ratchet pruners give up on me. I need to replace them in the next few days without spending a whole lot of money.
I stopped at the hardware store but didn't see any I wanted in my backpack. Thanks.

The plastic (red) pipe cutters do pretty well for most limbs.

I got a leatherman vista multi tool several years ago and it has pruning shears instead of pliers. I am never in the woods without it. Unfortunately it was discontinued.
