Found a half eaten rabbit under an arborvitae tree next to our house. Wasn't there the day before and appears to be fresh. I checked the area and didn't find any blood or fur.
Thoughts on what did this, coyote? fox?

I found one a couple years ago in my in-laws flower bed with just the head gone.
The general consensus here was an Owl.
I've experienced it firsthand numerous times while out with some of my falconer buddies. The hawk would take a squirrel out of a tree and the first thing it would eat 99.9% time was the jaw/cheek, neck area

I say owl. From what I remember being told if it's too big to eat in one bite, which is what they prefer to do, they often bite things that size in half eating half at a time. May have been Disturbed and dropped it.

Probably one of my dogs. She only eats the heads. Guess she doesn't like the guts. And as you can see, she is quite the derp.
