New lease in Wayne County this year, I've just been hopping around the few times I've been here to kind of figure out deer movement. There is a power line right of way that cuts the place almost in half. The PowerLine looks great but you guessed it, the only man that hunts the place seriously, lives on that PowerLine. So a majority of my time (not alot) has been spent trying to figure out how the smarter deer may avoid that section. I've found a spot on Google Earth that I think is gonna be HOT. It's a sure fire way for the deer to avoid that section and still make it out to the pastures and green fields just across the state line. My intentions were to slip in there this evening as I figured it would be prime just before dark but the PowerLine man beat me here and having to walk past him to get to this area, out of courtesy I changed locations. Oh well I have 16 days off starting next week.

The white curved line is the curvature of the bluff that runs down the edge of the flat I want to hunt. The blue dot is the general area I think will be prime.

looks good from the picture. with 16 days off, you should learn a lot about the place. nothing like boots on the ground

I also hunt Wayne county. Its been a really slow year for us on the lease this year. I'm heading that way after work today, hope they move in the morning. GOOD LUCK TO YA
