I haven't been able to find H4198 for about 8 months. I seem to find IMR4198 about everywhere.
Whitakers guns has it in 8lb jugs....$190

Looks to me like you can backorder H4198 at Midsouth. $152 for 8 pounds, that is pre-panic price I do believe.

That being said, it's been tried and it has failed by the best. RB made a rule that has passed testing. The only way it worked was to keep speeds so slow, that it defeated the purpose of a higher bc bullet. Right now he can push a .265 bc bullet to 3,000. Why would he take a .245 bc bullet to 2,000 fps when he could do better both with bc and speed?
Guys, its been done by the very best at Doug's and it did not work.
Unless DA can machine pvc sabots like edge, I do not see success.
