I would just contact Pac-Nor or Shilen directly, they can put you in a great barrel without having to pay premiums with local smiths or shops. A good gunsmith is nice to have around, but just for a rebarreling job I would go straight to the company.
 
I have used Pac-Nor before and they do really good work. I would not hesitate to use them again.
 
I would definately call around and find out. I think Shilen charges $400 to install one of their barrels and Pac-Nor charges $300 to install one of theirs so you are probably looking at somewhere around $700 to $800 when it is all said and done.

As for a good gunsmith in the middle TN area, guns and leather has a good gunsmith.

I would definately call him and see what he can do for you. Avoid Franklin Gun Shop unless you want to pay twice as much as you would to have anyone else do it.

Make sure you take your hardware off the rifle before you give it to them.

AS high as Gander mtn is on overything else, I don't know if I
would trust them to do work on my guns. Just my opinion. Be
careful who you have do work on your guns.
 
Located Manchester, Tn. Actually I got a guy in Lexington who is gonna cut the barrel and recrown it for me. He has a good rep from what I hear. Also around $50 - 60 but gona be a wait to get it back. Would get a new barrel but can't let go of that kind of money right now.
