Gunsmith cleaning

I was at a local gunsmiths place the other day and he had a sign said gun cleaning 60 dollars is this about the going price also what all do most gunsmiths clean is it just a basic cleaning or do most of them clean everything

A lot of times they will take apart stuff we can't/shouldn't and clean and LUBRICATE PROPERLY ie bolts, trigger groups and stuff that you need special armorer's tools to get at. Not a bad deal when you figure their hourly rate, unless it's the same kinda cleanin you're gonna give it.
I know I have had to carry parts in zip lock bags with my gun after some of my more experimental cleanings.....when I carried it to the gun shop!

thought i was going to have to carry one in ziploc while back. finally got it back together. i would have paid someone to do that from the start if i woulda known it was going to be that much trouble.
