I bought a couple of silicone infused gun socks today. Are these good at preventing corrosion?

Also, the sock is a snug fit with my scoped rifles. Will sliding the sock over the scope knock it out of zero? I'm not tugging real hard, but again it is a snug fit.

I have several socks that I kept guns in before I bought my safe last yr. One gun got shoved up under my bed and I forgot I had it until I moved the bed a yr later. All was good, nothing on the gun at all.

UT, If pulling a sock over the scope knocks it off zero......don't ever shoot it, the scope may fly clean off the gun. Not being a smart guy but think about it, recoil vs. pulling a knit sock over it......................

True about the sock affecting the zero. I don't have a safe, so I store my rifles in gun cases and I thought the gun socks would be an added bonus.
