gun shows?

I must admit that I'm a newbie and have never been to one, but always wanted to go. I'm now in the market for a new rifle AND muzzleloader. Are there good deals to be had, or should I stick to the retail stores?

Probably find a decent deal on muzzle out front with people bringing them to sell and can sometimes find a deal that way on other guns as well.

If you have never been, definitely go to one. You will not find any good deals from the dealers inside. The deals (if any) will be found outside. Watch what the crowd is bringing in and if you see something that interests you, catch them and ask what they have for sale before they get in. You have to be quick, they are a lot of pen hookers looking for deals also.

If you are anywhere near Franklin TN on Jan 5th and 6th, you should go to the one at the AG Expo. Don't waste your time with the Nashville Gun Shows.

And gutter guards....sheesh. The Knoxville show was a mad house today. I always go on Sunday. Its usually a little different crowd. Not today. Crazy!
