I was looking at a Russian Arms Siaga 5.56 x 39. This place has a used one for $499.00. Is this a decent buy for this weapon or a little high. Not too familiar with this. Did a little research but don't know. Any information would be appreciated.

Thanks

Overall, not too bad for a local shop considering everything that is happenning and everyone freaking out. Might be able to beat the price if you call around. Call Specialty Arms, Gun City, Franklin Gun Shop , and Guns and Leather and see if they have any and what their prices are. Franklin Gun Shop will probably be the most expensive of the 4 places mentioned.

Look on gunbroker. If the price is good enough, it would be worth finding someone with an FFL and buying one there. You can find lists of people who charge for the use of their FFL. Its usually around $25 to $40.

Saiga's aren't the most accurate rifles or shotguns but they work via the proven AK gas-piston design. Accuracy to me is being able to hit a basketball at 300 yards. The Saiga won't do it but it will certainly hit a silhuotte target each time out to 300 yards. I fired one of my buddies Saiga's this past weekend and it hit a B-27 target each time at 300y
