Have any of you had a coating put on your firearms?

NOT dipping, spray painting, or DuraCoat..... A real finish like CeraKote to harden and protect the gun metal from the elements?

If you have, who coated it, were you satified with the job done, and a price if you don't mind posting it....

My .243 I had built was done in olive drab Cerakote. I used Short Action Customs to build the rifle and Cerakote it. His price is 250.00 to do a rifle. I am very pleased with the job.

I have also refinished a few guns myself using Norrel's Moly Resin. This is a very durable finish if you use the bake on type. The key to a good finish is the metal prep. I have never used their air dry finish.
