Sweets is my favorite for removing copper. The new Sweets is not as strong as the old stuff. I also like Butch's Bore Shine.

I use Kroil first to get the powder fouling, then JB Paste for the copper and the Kroil again to clean up whats left,,,

I love the Shooters Choice Copper Solvent. Best stuff I've ever used. It also seasons the barrel to prevent copper build up and makes cleaning even easier and faster.

I use a bore brush one caliber smaller than the gun I am cleaning and wrap a patch around the brush and apply the paste to the patch,,it makes quick work of a nasty bbl and the paste actually conditions the bore like a cast iron skillet,,My 300 RUM has been cleaned like this a bunch and after 10 years it is the smoothest bore and easiest bbl to clean I have,,

if it is real bad dirty,,shoot it 3 times real fast and warm it up a little right before cleaning,,makes the REAL dirty ones come clean ALOT easier also
