I have a T/C Omega with the blue barrel. After I shoot it, I clean it with bore blaster and then use bore butter and put it in my gun cabinet. When I get it out after a couple of months the inside of the barrel has started to oxidize. Is there something that I should do different, or do I need to clean it in between shooting.

Throw the bore butter away and use a light coat of gun oil to prevent rust. JMHO
