As unfortunate as this ban will be, the people that own these type guns are not the voting majority.
Obama would have to ban all private ownership of firearms to really make waves and possible revolution.
I'm against this ban but many people see these as assault rifles so if Obongo bans them it won't hurt his cred with his base.

I have to be honest I've been to the range to sight in my rifle and some of the tactical guys give me the creeps lol. They act like they're Matrix agents. I'm just trying to sight in my muzzleloader lol
Regardless our government should not ban these weapons. Many people enjoy dressing up in tactical gear and emptying a 20 round mag flinging hot brass on a guy at the next bench trying to sight in his .30 06. Too much fun to take away from a person.

The Republicans still own the house. Unless SEVERAL republicans cross party lines and vote with the lib-tards on a bill like this, then it won't pass the house and move on to the senate. If the house falls to the dummycrats in the 2014 mid-term elections, then we are screwed, screwed, screwed.

There will probably a revolution if this were to ever go into effect. At the condition that our country is in, I just don't see people standing for this crap. I don't think this will ever take full effect, at least I hope not.
