I am going to the gulf shores/orange beach area deep sea fishing last week of May or first week of June. There are three of us and we are wanting to go on a charter boat for a 8-12 hour bottom fishing trip. I would prefer to go on a boat with twin outboards due to speed and amount of time to fish. Does anyone have any suggestions? Last trip I went on a 8hr trip and spent more time traveling out and back in and between spots than I did fishing. Any suggestions???

I have fished with him a couple of times and he does a great job. If you have never tried the deep drop fishing, you should. You could combine it with snapper fishing.

I just received an email from him quoting $1200 per day for all day bottom fishing trip on 32 foot century boat with twin outboards. Sounds like a good price. Has anyone on here fished with him and what did you catch.cmn said:

I've been on the Fish Trap as well and had good experiences. See my comment regarding contacting them directly on the other thread in the General Forum.
I used to both fish with Capt. Joe and I was a deckhand sometimes. I have known him for 30 years. He used to run a big boat but switched over about 10 years ago.
