Guess the age

What would you guess is the age of this buck. I took this pic from the truck at 11 am today, he was with 2 does. I will post a recent trail cam pic of him later, as well as how old I think he is.

Long legs, but too much chest development for a 1 1/2. I'm saying 2 1/2.

I would say 2.5.. Possibly 3.5. It'd probably be easier to tell in a clear trail cam pic

I knew y'all would guess low, here is the buck. my best guess is he is at least 4.5 years old, because he had the build of at least a 3.5 last year and his rack hasn't grown a whole lot. The pic I took today makes him look skinny and maybe he hasn't been eating because of all the chasing. But I posted this because its crazy how a deer can look 4 years old in one pic and 2 in another.

Yes it's the same deer, I've studied him a lot and know him well

I'll give me 3.5 tops, the angle of TC doesn't really help in aging
and yes when they are running does they drop weight, but the truck
pic gives you the look of long legs no back sway, no belly.

But I'm not the expert ask BSK
