Well it pains me to say but I missed a golden opportunity. I had a 3.5 maybe older 18+ wide 8 point work his way within 20 yards of my Stand around 5:15 pm today. It looked like something you only see on tv.i did every thing perfect until the moment a set my single pin right behind his shoulder on a quartering away shot and squeezed the trigger. The moment I saw the lighted nock clear his back by about 6 inches I knew what I had done. I have one pin sighted in at 30 yards I can shoot at 20 by holding alittle low and 40 by aiming high. I practiced it over and over all summer but under the gun I simply didn't take the time to think about what I was doing. He would have been my largest bow buck and real close to my second largest deer ever. I still think The Lord for a beautiful sight and heart pounding hunt. Maybe we will meet again another day.
