After sitting 2 hours waiting for someone that was suppose to show-up this morning to hunt. Wouldn't answer his phone, never showed, thinking of just getting rid of my dogs and quitting.
 
I dont understand? Do you have to hunt with this person to enjoy your dogs? Or do you mean your selling because seasons over and you dont need feed bill?

My season took a hit I got 2 females in heat and my best female should be coming in not long after seasons over im hoping because of other 2 she dont come in a little early.Didnt get to hunt yesterday and not sure about today gotta run to TSC this morning,clean kennels when im back.Might just let the pups.go out this evening! Hope you change your mind about the dogs unless they aint worth feedin a man needs a couple hounds handy!
 
That's one thing about running dogs you don't have to have anyone else for it to be fun.I've been solo 90% of the time this year and it's better with others there but still great by yourself,hang in there enjoy your dogs they are more reliable than most folks.
 
I know the dogs enjoy it, but I remember when I was younger getting a group together shooting the bull and having a good time. As I get older and after having a heart attack I really worry about going alone.
 
I know what your talking about I had a H-A few years ago to and sometimes when your out in the middle of nowhere by your self it will spook ya but you just gotta take it a little easier when out alone and try not to think about it,maybe we can get together one of this days and run some dogs,hang in there.
