What are you going to do with those strings hanging down over your tomato plants? I'm always looking for innovative ways to tie up / stake tomato plants.

Those strings are attached to a spool on a wire. Kinda like a fishing reel. U pinch the wire a certian way and it pays string out . I attach the string near the base of the pland and pull the string kinda tight. As the plant grows u wrap the string around the trunk of the plant. It keeps me from using cages. They only cost a buck twenty a piece.
