Grouse in west TN

How far west are ruffed grouse in TN?

yeah, but doesnt matter too much. hardly any grouse left in TN it seems.

I see a few around here every now and then, on BSF mostly and a few on my property. Always like to hear them drumming on a cold morning. Fewer and fewer all the time though, just like quail.

I saw one in Henry County once about 12 years ago. I only knew what I was looking at because of watching the Discovery Channel, lol. Beautiful bird, though, and very cool to watch & hear drumming.

There are still some on the South Cherokee. I have seen them on the Ocoee section and around the Deep Gap Area.
