Best way to trap a groundhog. We have one going under our church.

They like melon pretty well, I've caught several that way.
Make sure it's a sturdy trap, they're strong for their size.

Poison peanuts might trap him.

That's what we used a few times. You'll wanna monitor the trap pretty closely, or they'll tear it apart and escape.

This is what i have used around the house. In last few months caught a dozen coons couple groundhog, possums. I have used variety of bait. Mostly some cat food

A 220 is the number one ground hog machine.. but.. I'd probably shy away from setting one close to the public.. to many ankle biters around.. I have caught a train load in a live trap with cantaloupe for bait.. cut a few pieces about the size of a walnut and lead him in there.. they are pretty easy to catch
