How long do you guys wait to hunt them? I put one out two weeks ago and have never really hunted out of one ,I always climb. This particular spot is in a pine thicket that the trees are not big enough to climb but from the ground you can see good. Just wondering how long it takes deer to get used to them I was thinking about hunting it this weekend. Thanks
 
I installed my Ameristep Doghouse blind on a 6'x10' wooden platform on 11/7/16 last year. I killed two doe opening day of gun season from it, ie. about 2 weeks later +/-.

Yep, hunt it. Had one of our lease members pop up a ground blind just after daylight last week and hopped in. Less than an hour later he had a 10 and 8 point come by. He got a shot on the 8 and killed it.

Thanks for the advice , I seen several this morning the blind did not bother them at all! I guess I will do this more often in places I cant find a tree.
