this base/adapter is made by Anschutz to fit Redfield type sights to an 11mm rail,,it fits the CZ 452 11mm rail perfect,,but I wanted the new sight on the Brno Model 4 16mm rail..
the screws were long enough to work as is but pushed the base 2.5mm to the left off center,
I started grinding and filing just a little at a time and remounting and shooting at 100 yards to get the sight exactly centered in the middle and have 36 MOA windage adjustments both ways..
I finally got it where it needs to be and after shooting at 100 yards and getting a zero I dialed up 45 MOA and banged the 20 inch gong at 300 yards 7 of the first 10 shots..it was almost dark and I will be doing more testing soon to make sure everything is square and level..the sight has 3 MOA adjustments per turn and are marked on the scale in 3MOA increments,there is no way to loose your zero or where you are on the sight,,from 100 zero up 45 MOA to 300 yards and back to zero is easier than my Leupold Tactical scopes..
to say I am really excited is a gross understatement
