what are some good ways to grill some rats

Marinate in lemon-pepper marinade.

I treat it similar to pork. Any citrus marinade works great.

I always boiled them alittle while then grilled them. Some of them suckers are TOUGH.

boiling works best for sure.....boil em up then grill em with bbq sauce....mmmmmmmm
