I love to cook and this is the 1st time I have noticed the cooking forum.

Check out this awesome steak I grilled in the freezing snow a few days ago.

If it's beef then it looks good to me and ready to eat but if it's deer meat then it's not cooked enough for me.
 
I always tell them to cook it rare where a god vet could probably bring it back to life. Best way -why dry it out otherwise its jerky.
 
Best thing i ever got was the digital wireless thermometer. Set it where you want it and leave it sticking in the meat while you take the handheld with you. It beeps when its ready. Works great for jerky too!
