Seeing reports that race car driver Greg Biffle and family are casualties in the plane crash in North Carolina.

Edit..I didn't look in the Gen forum before I posted this. Just saw the thread over there.

What a way to go. Have not followed or watched Nascar in a long time so I do not know who he is. But man I feel bad for him, his family and his fans.

⬆️ I just read that. I had my eyes getting misty reading her mom's words. So so sad! 😭
Imagine getting that text and then nothing. Having to wait hours to find out what happened. That had to be the longest XXXXX hours of that mothers life. I cannot imagine. Lifes short.

I can't imagine what was going on in that cockpit as at least one of the 3 qualified pilots fought that thing all the way back around to within just a couple hundred feet of the runway. The graphic that I've seen of the flight path shows that somebody(s) was in one Hell of a fight with the plane. And they almost made it. Just horrific beyond comprehension for me. Sending prayers for the families.

The only video I've seen is the door camera from a home that's right there. At that point the plane had already clipped the trees and hit the ground short of the runway and was in flames all the way until it came to a stop.

It's not a video that I was referencing. I haven't seen any video. It's just a graphic. I'll see if I can find it.
